Cars, not mental health (if only that was a thing). Can anyone recommend the best and cheapest please?

Every time I've looked over the last decade or so, I've found Auto Aid to be the best value for dh and I.
We are both covered (travel home or to destination or a garage, roadside repair, homestart), whatever vehicle we are driving at the time.
Think it is about £48.00
Whenever we've had to call them out they have been great. Never waited longer than 40mins and once came in about 7 mins.

I use green flag, it's £10ish a month. Covers my car and DD's car. Run by direct line and used local recovery garages. Great service.

Meant to add the cover is everything but European driving. There are various options but I always go for the most cover.

Autoaid - great value and good service. I have had to call them out a few times and they have been brilliant. Costs about £50 a year for me and dh - we have two cars.
