DP was tagged on Facebook in a pub recently. While there a friend (let’s call him Pete) messaged him to ask if he could please pass on his number to the barmaid as he had been there the week before and had been absolutely besotted with her. Described her as ‘mesmerising’. Didnt speak to her at all as he was ‘too tongue tied’ but was planning to go back alone during the day To ask her out but saw that DP was there an took the opportunity.
Pete is married. We socialise with him and his wife and have done so recently. What made him think DP would be ok with this behaviour?! And even help him out?! And what is the right thing for DP to do now regarding the wife? We know her and like her even though we are not especially close. I think I would want to know.
