Police CCTV operators?

I always think I'd enjoy this job. I'm so nosey and can spend hours navigating google street view like an oddball.

Does anyone do this job? How do you spend your day? Are you paranoid that colleagues are watching you when you are out and about?!

In my county the CCTV is run by the council, not the police.

Oh that makes sense. I was watching a police programme tracking a missing person via cctv but they were maybe looking at council images. I'd still like to do it.
