Just that really !
I know it's sad but I've never been close enough to shop there!
My dm thinks it's very posh ! 🤣

Where are you that Ocado will deliver but you aren't near an M&S?

Ocado is posh whichever supermarket brand they sell. It's not like they're going to start delivering from Aldi is it?

PersephonePromotesEquanimity · 01/09/2020 12:04

Is anyone else aware there are already about half a dozen current threads on Ocado???

jeffgoldblumlovespenguins · 01/09/2020 12:04

Somewhere in Wiltshire that I can't name , strange I know , also have no kfc near me either! 😢

As much as I love Waitrose, M&S have a vastly superior gluten free range. If I can get that delivered with the weekly shop instead of having to go into town, I will be so happy!

jeffgoldblumlovespenguins · 01/09/2020 12:26

I sadly went on and looked at the new range!
Thousands of new items 🤪

I’ve sacked Ocado due to their excessive use of plastic bags. I got sick of receiving bags containing single items. What a waste. I’ve switched to a delivery service that uses and re-uses cardboard boxes.

No Ocado deliveries where I am in Scotland. Only a 5 minute drive from an M&S Food, but I'd love to be able to have a delivery instead. Our nearest Waitrose is 25 miles away, but thankfully they do deliver to my town.

hastingsmua1 · 01/09/2020 15:08

I don’t shop at Ocado but generally prefer M&S over Waitrose. Customers in your position, who haven’t experienced M&S much, are in for a treat.

Teacher12345 · 01/09/2020 15:11

I have booked a slot for next week and am very excited!

jeffgoldblumlovespenguins · 01/09/2020 15:25

Me too teacher ! 😃

Not me. Ocado offered very poor or rather no service to many during lockdown. I'm a Waitrose shopper and I'll be staying that way.
I'm also not very near an M&S and live in Wiltshire so I can never take advantage of click & collect if something in m&s is out of stock when I do visit a branch, which they usually are.

Varjakpaw · 01/09/2020 15:48

We had great service from Ocado over lockdown and I have decided to keep going with a weekly shop and no top ups as a result (rather than bi weekly and lots of M&S top ups). My only hesitation is that I really really don't want a Percy fucking Pig delivery van rolling up outside. At least when it is fruit or veg based van designs I can kid myself that the whole shop is healthy and not full of processed crap. If I get a Percy van, I will feel like the greedy grot bag I am.

Kinneddar · 01/09/2020 15:56

I dont know why M&S can't do their own online deliveries. Ocado doesn't operate in Scotland so its really disappointing M&S went with them Im sure they'd get enough business to make it worthwhile

halcyondays · 01/09/2020 16:00

No, because they don’t deliver in NI.

Northernsoullover · 01/09/2020 16:02

Yes I am. I love M & S food. I can't afford it weekly but it will be a real treat once in a while.
