Cat has peed over sofa - can I rescue it?

We hadn’t noticed when we first got home as it’s a dark colour but was vacuuming and took the cushions off to vacuum underneath and the two seat pads are saturated

Ive sprayed with enzyme spray and put the covers in the wash but will that be enough?

It should be enough although the covers might need another wash. Any idea why your cat peed on the sofa?

Once dry you could sprinkle with bicarbonate of soda to absorb any smells.

We were out all day and the cat flap was left locked by accident

I can’t see anything wrong with his litter tray and he’s used it to do a poo so can only assume it was a protest wee at being locked in
