Leeds - restaurants

Can anyone recommend any lovely restaurants in Leeds?

We are visiting next weekend and staying the night. I've tried googling but would really appreciate some first hand recommendations!

Steak or a curry would be our first choice, but open to any suggestions!

We like Fazenda

Mowgli - Indian street food.

Gaucho is supposed to be good for steak I think. Tharavadu does amazing curry and has a nice atmosphere.

Seconding Fazenda for steak

Nawaab or Tharavadu for curry (Nawaab is particularly good)
Red Chili for pan-asian

Fazenda is fab.

If you want to grab a quick bite to eat at lunch try Rola Wala on the top floor of Trinity. Their wraps are to die for

We went to The Botanist a few weeks ago and it was lovely, I've heard good things about Fazenda too!

I don’t like bibis, it’s very salty.

Last time I barely ate my meal, when asked why I said it was too salty and they just said ok and took it away

Stockdales is the best for steak.
