Quetiapine weight gain

Ds1 is on a low dose of quetiapine 250mg. Since the dose went up about a month ago. He’s rapidly gained weight. He’s not eating anymore than usual but has put on a stone nearly since late July. This is obviously getting him down. Is there anything he can do to limit the weight gain?

Is he moving around a lot less? I was on it for a while and it made me very sluggish compared to usual. I was doing my usual exercise but moved much, much less in between.
