What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my silent cup of coffee then I'm off up to get dressed and wake the girls up.

We're going to town for last school bits for them both, and if it's not too busy, we'll go for pizza and ice cream in the market.

The house is clean (if you ignore the bitty kitchen floor - I'll deal with that later on) and tidy, washing's all done so not much to do when we get in.

I think we'll start getting back into routine tonight so baths and earlier nights all round.

Once we're all settled, I'll wrack my brains for the email password I've forgotten! I only set the blummin account up on Thursday & have forgotten it already . It's for my Guides so will be something related to them but I'm buggered if I know what it is!

Anyway, what are you all doing? Anything nice?

Always good to see one of these on a Sunday morning.

I’ve washed the towels which are now outside drying. The dogs blankets are now getting the same treatment.

Slow cooker is on with a jackfruit campfire stew. Never tried jackfruit but wanted to try something new so here’s hoping it will be good in about 8hrs. Love meals I can leave and not worry about.

DH is going to mow the lawn and remove some hedges. I’m drinking coffee and reading my book while monitoring bacon & sausage in the oven for breakfast to go with scrambled egg & hash brown fries.

Will pop out later to see my Dad and DH has offered to take me clothes shopping for a few bits so may do that.

Then after stew tonight we will put the fire on and have a glass or two of red wine with a film. No idea what to watch yet but it’s nice not to have work tomorrow!

God my life is just a mess at the minute! I’ve been trying to get a early morning routine going for two weeks now with no results, my poor kids!

Today’s plan is to finish work, roughly 3-4 hours worth.

Wash the cushions and throws, bath the kids, book the dog into the groomers and tidy the garden.

Tidy the house up while DC are at their grandparents. Maybe have a rest/ nap in the afternoon before working a night shift.

Hopefully buying a new tent

Cleaning and washing done yesterday, so quieter day today.
We are on stage 4 lockdown so no shops or trips outside.
Weather cold and windy, so no walk.
Binge watching Big Bang Theory.
DH doing roast lamb for dinner.
