Video interview tomorrow

Hi everyone
I have been made redundant. Been there less than 2 years so no warning/ payment/ weeks notice etc.
I worked in buying, not far above minimum wage. I have applied for sales jobs in the industry I bought in if you get me, so opposite side. It is a similar wage but less friendly hours so a sideways move.
I have a video interview request that had gone to my junk folder so only have tomorrow to complete.
They have asked me to basically sell myself with the usual questions, tell them about myself, why I want to work there, where I see myself in a year etc.
I have just panicked as it has been sat there a week before I saw it. I know I need to relate it all back to the job i have applied for but I'm so nervous. I really need this job! Any tips. Got to do my hair and pretend I'm not ugly. This one really caught my eye and now I'm flapping. Help Sad

Well done on getting an interview, that's no mean feat at the moment.

They have invited you for an interview, so they already think you can do the job. You just need to relax and be yourself.

Answer calmly... if you go blank, just repeat the question they have asked you. This gives you time to think of an answer.

You can do this! Read through the questions they have sent you and have a think about what you would answer. You could also Google 'common interview questions' to give you an idea of other things you may be asked.

It's always good to try and engage in a bit of a conversation; you'll feel more relaxed and they'll get to know you too.

Good luck!

Thank you! I keep looking at the guidance and flapping. One of the questions (Best thing you've ever bought) makes me want to hold my dog up to the camera but I'm not sure if it would be awful or cute haha. They don't sell dogs so I guess they're looking for what you value in life or something along those lines. I equally don't want to stand in front of my house like a nob. Bloody hell.

I'd tell them all that!
