Just got called a cunt by a 10 year old. How's your Friday?

Group of 10-12 year olds in the play park singing along to Cardi B "bring a mop and a bucket for my wet ass pussy" on repeat, throwing rubbish everywhere and kicking balls towards my toddlers head. I told them this isn't the place and to go play elsewhere if they're going to kick balls around. They all laughed and turned the music up and continued kicking ball around and singing about pussies, before asking me what I was looking at and to fuck off. I said I'm looking at a bunch of children who despite trying to act cool and grown up, still hang out in a play park, which says it all really. The youngest of the group called me an 'old cunt'. I'm 25 Grin

How's your Friday going?

I used to teach in a PRU and the young people were very forth right in their use of language. Sadly they were never challenged on it by the other teaching staff. Cunt was frequently used, so I started asking 'Do you know what cunt means?' I never once had a right answer, mostly it was 'dunno'. They seemed more embarrassed about saying 'vagina' than they did cunt. Anyway I got round it by saying they could only use a swear word once, as using the same one was very boring and lost its impact. They rarely managed more than 4 different swear words before they gave up.

An young man, probably about 11, once suggested he would "split me in two." Complete with thrusting gestures. EnvyEnvySad

Saw an exchange between a man and a bunch of 12ish year olds last year when the bloke was driving past a canal and one of the toe rags sitting on a bench threw a half full bottle of coke at the van. The man stopped, got out and asked who threw the bottle and the cocky little sod said 'oh jog on you old cunt'. The man, visibly shocked, didn't quite know what do. While he was thinking in stunned silence the kid followed with 'you still fucking here, I told you to jog on you cunt'. A little bit of me really wanted to see the lad knocked onto his arse.

Was up visiting my nan. Came out to a crowd of 8ish year olds standing round my car spitting on it.

Shock I’m coaching my 10yo through his school day. He’s overwhelmed and learning resistant. Ugh. I can see why he has had trouble making his grades when they’re in person school.

VoldemortsMaid · 28/08/2020 16:20

All I can currently hear are some kids outside screaming and shouting and boxing with each other.

I really, really, really fucking hate kids.

I’m so glad I only mix with cats

GreyGardens88 · 28/08/2020 16:25

Where were the parents? Sick of children running feral these days, never saw this 20 years ago. Bad parenting is what I say

ithinkiveseenthisfilmbefore · 28/08/2020 16:27

I used to whip out my phone and start recording via video when the local teenagers were intentionally damaging play equipment ... they'd get loud and faux outraged about it, but they'd also slink off as they expressed it knowing it could be just whacked up on the local social media pages asking who their parents were.

Ilovewillow · 28/08/2020 16:28

Wow! my daughter was 12 yesterday and I would be mortified if she used language like that or behaved in such an appalling manner! Staggered!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/08/2020 16:30

Prison fodder.

Holothane · 28/08/2020 16:32

Feral rats the lot of them we have them here the way they speak to their mums is shocking.

FlySheMust · 28/08/2020 16:36

The local forums of our nearest town are full of tales like this. It's frightening.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 28/08/2020 16:38

Good grief, I'm not a pearl clutcher by any stretch but how on earth is a song with those lyrics high in the charts?
As appalling as those kids were behaving, I'm not surprised anymore.

LemonGraber · 28/08/2020 16:39

This is so sad. Poor children growing up thinking this is funny and normal.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 28/08/2020 16:40

Who the hell would want to go into teaching of people are dragging up kids like this. Hmm

Bigfatpicnic · 28/08/2020 16:43

I’d be mortified if that was my child.

I once told some kids off for similar behaviour and got some abuse (not the same level as you got thou), they did tone it down, but carried on whilst staring at me. I was fuming about it. However, some weeks later by chance I saw one of the girls with her mum in town, the mum didn’t look too scary, so I went over to her about her DDs behaviour. I could see she was fuming when I explained what had happened, and the DD was trying to minimise her part and cringing.

I will say that I wouldn’t have done it if the parent looked scary, iyswim.
Made me feel better.

I’d want to know if it was my child behaving like that.

As someone else said, video them, the thought of being on SM should put them off.

WhatamessIgotinto · 28/08/2020 16:43

I work in a middle school (Age 9-13). I'm not surprised by any of these scenarios. Ten years ago I would have been but not now - I literally despair, I really do.

rorosemary · 28/08/2020 16:44

Yeah, I guess thst I'm a pearl clutcher here.

I got severely told off by my dad because I sang Papa don't preach by Madonna in the 80s.
