Are DuoShade blinds (blinds2go) any good?

Does anyone have these? I'm considering them for two north facing windows and I like the idea of the thermal/insulating, energy saving properties.

If you have them, do they actually make a difference in terms of keeping the warmth in and cold out?

I think DuoShade (and DuoLights) are specific to blinds2go, but I think they go by the generic terms of honeycomb or cellular blinds, so any other recommendations for this type of blind are welcome.

I don’t know about those specific blinds but I have had several blinds from Blinds2Go and have been very happy with them.

Thank you. Good to know you've been happy with blinds2go.

I also can’t comment on duo shade but have used blinds 2go for all of my rooms as have two of my friends and the quality is excellent.

Personally I’d advocate getting Fabric samples, they are sent out first class post the next day or that day, as I find that sometimes the pics can be slightly misleading into the colour.

For example I have the plush zest velvet roman blinds and you can see the difference here from the image on the website to the material actual colour.

We have the equivalent of the DuoLights blinds in our conservatory and personally I do notice a difference. Obviously as a conservatory it's hot in summer and cold in winter, but I do notice a massive difference if one of the blinds is open and I'm sat in front of it. Without the blind down it feels almost draughty.

We didn't get ours from Blinds2Go. Ours are Duette. We must have got a bad batch first time around those as all the rear side of the honeycomb all started separating from the front. In the end, over the course of about 2 years we ended up having them all replaced. Despite being out of warranty the supplier replaced them free of charge, so there was definitely something unusually wrong with the original ones.
