Amazon scams

I just received an e mail from amazon customer care asking me to verify my account because my bank didn’t recognise my information provided. Has anyone else heard of this . I have been an amazon customer for a decade and never had any problems.

That's phishing email. Login to your amazon account without clicking any links in the email. You'll have a notification on your amazon account if they need you to update anything.

Yes I’ve had something similar and it’s a scam. I forwarded it to Amazon’s phishing team

I thought it probably was but new one on me and wanted to check. Thank you.
