I work as a waitress in chain restaurant. We have been extremely busy thanks to EOTHO (Thanks Boris!) More Tables and chairs have been creeping back into the restaurant. Questionable social distancing between tables. My colleagues have become complacent with their Covid-safety procedures. Purely because their over stretched! Management are the same and too busy to oversee.
Our restaurant seems it is exactly the same as it was 6 months ago. Whereas shops it’s a completely different experience. - There’s Screens/masks/sanitiser/floor markings.
Is this the same everywhere? Are we allowed to be a little more lax? Or has the greed (£££) got to our business? Does anyone know how this is regulated? If you work in this industry do you feel the same? Some colleagues feel the same as me, others are just happy to be busy!
