Camping in England question.

I love camping but have only tended to go in the summer months in the past. What is the latest date in the year you would go? A basic small tent, just me, no heater or anything. A nice site though with good facilities. Just a bit worried about how cold it might get in the night. Would obviously wear layers.

Probably October. Clocks changing is a good guide I think.
