Five famous people, dead or alive. Who would you choose? Here’s mine:

Prince (obvs)
Micky Flanagan
Morgan Freeman
Stevie Wonder
Alanis Morrisette

Although I think Micky would get on Prince’s nerves...

I'd love to be all cultured and clever but in reality I'd probably just invite Pedro Pascal, Chris Pine, Jon Bernthal, Ben Affleck and Jamie Dornan or something and perve at them while they talked...

Reserves - way too many to mention!!

I really tried to think of a inspirational female scientist, but alas, my mind is blank

Really ? Straight away I can think of Marie curie, Ada Lovelace, hedy Lamarr, Elizabeth Garret Anderson?

Agwen · 26/08/2020 00:15

David Niven
Maya Angelou

Salvador Dali
Hitler
Ghandi
Tom Hanks
I have so many questions I want to ask them all!

IdblowJonSnow · 26/08/2020 00:27

Boudica
Jon Richardson
Kate Moss
Keanu Reaves
Kate Atkinson

Bit random!

bluebell34567 · 26/08/2020 00:35

oh we should choose 5 people? i just noticed it.
Then i would like to also invite Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Liam Hemsworth and Amber Heard (i think she is very pretty like you can draw a nice portrait of hers, but i didnt read or hear anything about the last court case)

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 26/08/2020 00:42

Too hard to choose just 5 but in no particular order my fantasy dinner party guests would be
Michelle Obama
Barack Obama
The Queen
David Attenborough
The Dalai Lama
Hitler
Albert Einstein
Michelle Visage
Abraham Lincoln
Marilyn Monroe
Judy Garland
& Lemon off Canada's Drag Race.

With Jesus & Wallis Simpson coming in later.

It seems like the Obamas are very popular but then they are kind & genuine with interesting & important things to say.

Itsatoughgig · 26/08/2020 00:45

Barack Obama
Louis Theroux
Michael McIntyre
Anna Kendrick
Pamela Rabe

SukiPutTheEarlGreyOn · 26/08/2020 00:45

Grayson and Philippa Perry
Toby Jones (initially typed Toby Young by mistake. No, no, no!)
Tina Fey
Truman Capote

If any of them drop out then Mark Rylance, Mary Beard, Donna Tartt, Armando Iannucci and Jo Brand will be on speed dial.

Manolin · 26/08/2020 01:39

Tracy Emin
Oliver Reed
Bjork
Quentin Tarantino
Sade

Salahadin and Barack Obama would be other choices but not with the above guests. I would have to complement that dinner party with Professor Brian Cox, Cleopatra and that lady from the 1980’s Athena poster holding a racket retrieving a tennis ball from her knickers.

NeedToKnow101 · 26/08/2020 19:58

Haven't looked at anyone else's yet.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy
Germaine Greer
Graham Linehan
Posie Parker
Susie Green from Mermaids 😂😂

NeedToKnow101 · 26/08/2020 20:01

I wouldn't really have Susie Green; actually maybe Lionel Shriver.
I would like Idris Elba to squeeze in next to me too if there's room for one more.

isseywith4vampirecats · 26/08/2020 20:09

Edgar Allen Poe
Charles Dickens
Martin Luther King
Queen Victoria

chrislilleyswig · 26/08/2020 20:09

Great question. I like to laugh and hear funny stories. So I would like

Dame Judi Dench

My best friend
Larry Rickard (he could be my dessertBlush)
