hi all
i just wondered if anybody could help my son was diagnoised with ADHD ANXIETY PICA AND OCD 3 years ago now they want to screen for autisim i just wondered how the process works in march i filled in some forms think they said screening test since then i havent heard anythink regards

I think the process works differently in different areas. Did your GP refer you? Our dd was referred for an assessment by the GP. We then waited just over a year to see a paediatrician.

Due to the huge rise in referrals for assessment, the wait in our area went from 3-6 months in 2015 to over 18 months now. You can always phone your local Child Development Centre to check you are still on the waiting list, but the lists are very long, so that is probably why you have not heard back yet.
