Experience with pull-ups / nappy pants causing a wedgie?

I went up a size but it did the same.
He's in size 6+ and a fricking nightmare to change nappies.
Pull-ups solved a lot of problems but caused a wedgie and horrific nappy rash.

I tried different makes - same problem.

Is it us? (I had this problem with my other sons too).
I wondered if I was doing something wrong?

I've bought the next two sizes down but I doubt it will help.

I hate pull ups and won’t use them. My advice would be to stick at regular nappies, he’ll get the idea if you persevere
