Ugh I've not missed the coughs/ colds and sniffles that come from the petri dish commonly referred to as school. A third of the kids were off by Friday. Luckily it seemed short lived as back to normal after weekend.

I did keep my DC off but I wouldn't of under normal circumstances. Just wondered is there any proper guidelines as to when kids should be in school now. School are trusting parents to make judgements for the moment which is not really a help.

If any of the Covid symptoms are displayed, e.g continuous cough, fever, then the kids stay off and you book a Covid test, self isolating until you get the test results back.
Our school sent our very clear guidance on what to do.

Children having been isolated for months are going to be a petri dish for viral infections they will have a reduced immunity to anything
