I hate nails. I feel funny if I think about them too much and I can't bear to look at long nails.

Feet are the absolute worst though. Awful looking things. If I have kids I'm probably going to have to superglue their socks to them. Even baby feet freak me out, and toddler are worse. They're chubby with no shape. I even hate the words associated with those things on the end of your legs. Why do animals get such adorable paws and we get those ghastly ones?

Does anyone else get a bit weirded out by parts of the human anatomy?

Bones crunching/joints clicking🤢

I'm currently training to be a doctor😂....but definitely NOT an orthopaedic surgeon!

Toomuchtooyoung01 · 24/08/2020 19:22

Veins.

skeemee · 24/08/2020 19:24

eyes, especially eyeballs magnified so you can see the veins? I hate getting my eyes tested, it makes me feel queasy!

Toilenstripes · 24/08/2020 19:27

Navels. Yuck.

HexagonsHecateAndHecuba · 24/08/2020 19:30

Feet, but most specifically toes. Just horrible!!!

DishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 24/08/2020 19:31

I agree any veiny areas in particular the wrist and the absolute worst - inside elbow 🤢🤢🤢

Bramblecrumble · 24/08/2020 19:31

I'm with you with feet. Was ok with them until started clinical placement and nearly passed out in foot surgery (no gore it was manipulation under anesthesia) now they make my stomach turn. Baby feet are cute though.. apart from my slightly early newborn with underdeveloped toenaols, that was weird... but babies soft head top was creepy.

TroysMammy · 24/08/2020 19:31

Eyeballs too. I can't even look at a photo of a Scotch egg cut in half because they look like eyes. I'm squeamish if I see eggs being cracked open on tv but I can do it myself no problem. I'm just weird.

Nails here as well, if they’re long enough to have white nail showing it makes me physically ill. If they touch something I won’t touch it again until I know it has be thoroughly cleaned.

My boyfriend can’t cut his own nails (disability), he comes home tomorrow after surgery, I can’t wait to see him but the first thing I will have to do is cut his nails. Even if I don’t look at his hands/feet just knowing they’re long will stop be concentrating on anything else.

FecktheBoss · 24/08/2020 19:33

Feet especially DHs, hes not allowed to put them anywhere near me

VettiyaIruken · 24/08/2020 19:33

I hate nostrils.
Particularly when they basically point forward so it looks like two little caves you can climb up to from the lip.

That's the type I have and something I absolutely hate. I look like I've got a snout.

mrsgtobe97 · 24/08/2020 19:34

Belly buttons! Almost spew every time I touch mine and cry whenever anyone else tries to touch mine, serious ick at anyone else also 😂😂 I have a really deep innie belly button so I think that's why..

olivo · 24/08/2020 19:34

I came onto this thread purely to say I don't like nails, especially long finger nails. And yes, toe nails are worse!
Polkadotties · 24/08/2020 19:35

I can deal with blood and gore but watching someone getting a dislocated joint popped back in properly weirds me out. Was watching 24 hours in a&e and this guy had been punched and dislocated his jaw, I couldn’t watch them pop it back Envy not envy

Elouera · 24/08/2020 19:36
  • large gap between the front teeth
  • crooked/yellow/broken teeth
  • hairy ears or nostrils
  • feet. Especially when MIL lets her dogs lick between her toes!!! Envy
LunaNorth · 24/08/2020 19:37

If I think too much about teeth and mouths they freak me out.

I mean, your mouth is basically a large arsehole with bits of bone sticking out, to start the process of the manufacture of shit.

One of DSes once pointed out that when two people kiss, they’re basically creating a long tube with an arsehole at each end.

(Sorry if anyone’s having their tea).

I was going to say knees freak me out a bit... but then I read your post and now it's going to have to be mouths. I am traumatised Shock
SpangleBug · 24/08/2020 19:41

I agree with bones and joints. Since fracturing my arm many moons ago I can't watch anything featuring fractures and dislocations. It makes me nauseated remembering how overwhelming the pain was.

I forgot, along with gappy/crooked teeth, its facial moles or lumps!
Even worse when they have hairs sticking out of them. I cannot stop looking at them and can't concentrate on what the person is saying.

LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone · 24/08/2020 20:22

Belly buttons. I have never been able to touch mine, it's almost like an electric shock if I do it accidentally. Being hugely pregnant and it protruding was a torment.

Penises. Like the last chicken in the shop.

OhTheRoses · 24/08/2020 20:25

Armpits.
