Curry must be hot. Saag Aloo is essential.

God bless my local Indian takeaway.

Always want something with some chilli heat when I'm hungover, agree, Indian food is fab for this, also, spicy Mexican food.

itshappened · 24/08/2020 18:01

100% agree. When I'm hungover I crave the spiciest curry with all the rice and naan carbs to soak it up. I can also eat all of it.
Without a hangover, I still enjoy very spicy food, but can't eat as much so it seems wasteful!

YABU. The best cure is... A strawberry slushie. But yes, a decent feed also helps. However, the slushie provides fluids and sugar.

AgnesNaismith · 24/08/2020 18:08

Nooooooo. Depending on severity, from most severe to least, this is the list:

  1. Salt and vinegar crisps and ice pops
  2. Pizza Hut
  3. Pho
  4. Nandos

No the best hangover cure is a McDonalds quarter pounder with cheese meal and a banana milkshake

NerrSnerr · 24/08/2020 19:59

Pasta with loads of cheese, drizzled with olive oil is my hangover cure. Does the job for me.

JaneJeffer · 24/08/2020 20:00

A big greasy fry!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 24/08/2020 20:03

Banana
Salty crisps
Full fat coke in the morning.

Lots of water throughout the day.

Cottage pie in the evening.

riotlady · 24/08/2020 20:03

Egg fried rice for me

CountFosco · 24/08/2020 20:05

Irn Bru. If you can eat you're not that hungover.

Hoppinggreen · 24/08/2020 20:08

CountFosca never mind eat, in my younger days (when I used to drink enough to get a real hangover) I couldnt even keep water down.

bigchris · 24/08/2020 21:35

Full fatcoke
Bacon sarnie

Works everytime

Impatientwino · 24/08/2020 21:49

I always fancy a hot curry the day after a boozy occasion. Our local does an amazing chilli paneer which is spicy and sour. Lots of rice and poppadoms and all is well! Essentially carbs and cheese! Grin
