Firstly let me say I'm not posting this as advertising, although I am looking for suggestions on how to advertise my app. I'm a long-time user of mumsnet, I just haven't really posted in a few years. The app actually couldn't handle a mass influx of new players all at once!
I wanted to share how proud of myself I am for getting to this point. I got my computer science degree in 2017 as a mature student and it's been the worst 3 years of my life since then with mental health issues that I'm finally starting to overcome. This meant I haven't been able to get out there and work to put my degree to use yet.
I started this project just before lockdown started as a way to try to improve my job prospects and showcase my coding skills. It's a multiplayer game based around Mafia in Amercia in the 1920's, which was my brother's idea.
At the moment we have about 20 active players, which includes some of my friends and family and a few completely new players that have found the app on the Play store.
It's the most satisfying feeling seeing that a handful of people are enjoying something I created!
