What type of trousers that are flattering if I've put on a few lb's?

I'm not overweight (but not far off tbf), but I've put on nearly a stone while writing my dissertation over the last few months and everything I have is really unflattering.
While I lose the weight, can anyone recommend some trousers or jean styles that won't enhance my lumps and bumps like my current ones do?

I'm rubbish at clothes and styles so have no idea what I'm doing.

Please help!

Buy some zero gravity Sweaty Bettys - they'll pull all the wobbly bits in and you'll see the difference immediately. It'll spur you on to move and lose the weight. Also insanely comfortable and easy to layer up. Don't be scared of colour! Hush have some nice looking combat style slightly baggier stuff in the new season which you can dress up ( heels, chiffons/lightweight tops with strappy top/chemise underneath) and glam earrings or down ( trainers/ chunky ankle boots/ woolies and sweats). And cut yourself some slack. I can also recommend an online/on demand exercise app but I'm not sure if that's allowed? Is it advertising?

I like the cotton joggers (either with/without the cuffed ankle) from New Look. They're not actual running joggers, just loose fitted light cotton trousers in fashionable designs with a stretchy waist. I realise I've made them sound horrible but they actually look really great and are so comfy! I'm 40 but have seen the on-trend 20- somethings wearing them too.

I like wide leg trousers with a dart or two at the waist. ‘High’ waisted (meaning goes up to the actual waist instead of the hips) are very flattering. They’re not very practical on wet days though.
