I bought one of the only available chairs from argos at the start of lockdown, after we started to wfh at a night's notice. It looked relatively decent but within a month it was creaking, arms need retightening and it is just flimsy. It's also on wheels, which I have now realised is a right pain as they catch on the rug, and I usually end up wheeling toward the hallway when all i want to do is cross my legs in the other direction.
So I am after recommendations of a swivel chair, with no wheels. Needs to be swivel so I can get out of my corner easily. I would also like one that is relatively minimalist, not a bulky office chair, and I am not fussed if it is leather or upholstered.
Price wise, I'd like to say under £100( if it is doable!) I don't need anything grand, just a nice looking one that doesn't creek and or feel like it will crumble any day now.
I have seen a couple online, but I would rather try and get real recommendations first so I don't end up paying for a third chair in a few months time.
Thanks
