Name Change

Please could anyone help or point me in the direction for a temporary name change please?

Legally IRL or just on Mumsnet ?!

Just on Mumsnet please, I need to talk but don’t want to under this name or anything to go into my email. If you could help that would be great, thank you.

If you are in the app I think you can only change to a name you have used before. And I think any name change will still have any pm's sent to your registered email address.

If you're still looking for help, this is not on the app:

1. Click on settings (top right corner).

1. You may be asked to log in again to access it, log in then type the new name you want in the name box.

1. Click save. If the name is already taken, it will tell you and won't save. Choose another (until you get a free one) and save.

Same way to change back to old name.

As for email, you can re-register with another email address if you don't want to use your current one.

or just change your email address in profile or account settings, I think.
