Covid results

Hi, I know a lot of these threads have been made but can't see any for this month, and with the covid situation constantly changing I thought I'd ask again.

What is the time you waited to get your covid test results back? I have a test mid-day tomorrow and was wondering how long I will have to wait, the sooner the better haha

No not yet, it has only been 9 hours, so I'm hoping by tomorrow morning

@netflixismysidehustle , however they did say to me while they will aim to get it to me in 24 hours it is the target to get it to you within 48 hours but can take up to 5 days to get your result if you go to a test site

Drive in self swab at 8am, test results were before 4pm of the same day. I was very impressed.

Took a test on Tuesday, posted same day. Results came Friday

Just got his results and he's negative - phew!

Still no news for me, so not in 24 hours

Mine were back last week in a little over 12 hours. I was surprised by how fast they were.

As I said above mine were really slow last week. Posted Tuesday, had results Saturday evening so I'd perhaps give it until morning.

Ah right, it's just that I went through a drive through centre rather than posting them, so presumed it would be a bit quicker

I’m wondering if they are a bit backlogged maybe.

We had my son tested yday. Nothing back yet and the guy at the test centre said that they have went from testing 100 a day to 1000 since our schools went back so I'm not expecting it to be quick sadly which is annoying as I want my kids back to school, not missing anymore time!

Yeah possibly backlogged, just a bit scary I guess waiting for the result while everyone else seems to have theirs so quickly

Me DH and DD had a test yesterday as DD had symptoms bu I think its just a cold. Me and DH had results back this morning at 6 o'clock but nothing for DD. Husband rang up and was told it could take 72 hours to get results. Do you think as we were negative she will be? Do we go back to work? School??

I've still not had my results and have been through so many people with my complaints but still no answer
