I have iCloud which backs up everything on my phone and my computer
But I seem to have just accidentally renewed 👀 a drop box subscription
I can see files ppl have shared with me
What else should i use it for? Feel like such a dick

Photos.

iCloud is ok but doesn't store deleted photos. So if you delete them off your device they disappear from iCloud too.

You could use Dropbox to store photos but I've found Google photos better for that. Can't you just cancel your Dropbox subscription if you aren't going to use it?

AfterSchoolWorry · 23/08/2020 18:09

I cancelled minges. I used to pay for the terrabyte, but it hogged bandwidth, crashed my laptop with 8 hour long synchs and was very user unfriendly.

And I'm no technophobe.

Google photos does a far better job for free.

AfterSchoolWorry · 23/08/2020 18:10

😂 minges= mine.

I haven't cancelled my mind minge yet.

sunnysidegold · 23/08/2020 18:10

Minges crash your laptop? Oh dear Wink.

AfterSchoolWorry · 23/08/2020 18:11

🙈🥴

I use the free version of Dropbox as I'm a novelist and it means that, should my laptop crash irreversibly, all my work is backed up and can be accessed on any other machine.

I had one awful experience where someone managed to wipe a load of my work from my machine, but it was all backed up to Dropbox so I could just reaccess it!

linmanuel · 23/08/2020 22:21

Lol at minge

For renewal but it dropped
Out of my head ( a lot going on at the moment 🤯)
