Any difference between M&S school blouses and shirts?

Loads of school shirts in the size I need

No blouses!

I have checked chest dimensions And exactly the same. Is the difference only the name?!

Thanks

I think the girls blouses are shaped. Buttons on the other side too.

The blouses tend to be more likely to have a soft collar rather than a stiff one so I always get blouses for that reason. New Look have plainer ones if the M&S ones are a bit too fussy. I’ve just bought M&S and NL.
Next always have nice ones too.

It might be the collar - either size or design, so more a cosmetic difference then anything else.

Looks like boys get a pocket as well.

The kids will know straight away, the buttons on the wrong side. Shirts tend to be longer when they get to teenage sizes so don't fit girls with breasts and hips as well.
