How long did it take for your breasts to settle after breastfeeding?

I've finally finished weaning my daughter after two years of breastfeeding and none of my bras fit! I know it's unlikely that I'll go back to the same size I was before, but can anyone please let me know how long it took for your breasts to settle on a size? I don't want to buy some now and then in a few weeks none of them fit again.

Thanks!

I never went back to the bra size I was pre-pregnancy! I had to buy all new bras, I still have a draw full of the old ones.

But I never went back to my pre pregnancy weight either so that might have something to do with it. I was a size eight before pregnancy and now can't get past size 10.

That's exactly it! I'm pretty certain I won't be the same size, so just looking for some idea of when they might stop disappearing on me and I can buy bras which actually fit! Don't really want to have to keep buying them in loads of different sizes.

A year for me. I was a C Cup pre pregnancy, then went up to possibly D when feeding (didn't have them measured though), then went down to an A after I stopped breastfeeding, and now back to a C.

Crikey! Thanks @SlimGin that's really helpful! Looks as though I'll have to buy a few sets then, can't go a year with no bras that fit!

Took about 3 months after I stopped. I started at a B, went up to DD while feeding, settled at C afterwards. Second pregnancy went to E while feeding, settled at D afterwards. I stopped feeding a year ago, since then I've lost 1/2 stone and I feel like it's all come off my boobs, I'm a C again

Also wondering the same. Finally think I am finished after 18 months of feeding and no idea if it’s a good time to buy new bras. They’re so expensive I don’t want to waste money buying the wrong size...

I stopped feeding around 3 months ago and I'm not at my pre pregnancy size! I've still been wearing my nursing bras.

After 2 weeks they had completely settled. But I'm a cup size larger than I was pre-pregnancy. It's been 2 months since we stopped breastfeeding.

Really interesting how variable it is. We stopped only about two weeks ago and I have already gone down about one cup size I think. Have another couple to go to get back to pre pregnancy, but am already at the point where my nursing bras are not very comfortable as they're not supporting me properly. Tricky.
