It is my parents' 60th (diamond) wedding anniversary at the start of September.
We have a Diamond anniversary rose sorted with a personalised pot, cards and the card from the queen ( tho Covid may mean that may be late).
I also have a 1960 biscuit tin we would like to fill with little things my mum especially (who has dementia but will enjoy this) can unpack/ unwrap.
It's not as easy as the Golden anniversary where there were lots of suitably named or coloured food gifts available.
Any ideas? Edible or not? Cheap and silly or practical or sentimental or anything. I have a personalised choc bar from NOTHS and a wedding photo so far. The tin is a bit empty...
PS. (Thankfully) they would not appreciate real diamonds!
