Please recommend me the most comfortable shoes? I'm struggling being back at work and my feet HURT.
Casual is fine, I own Skechers go walks but even they aren't helping. Thanks

Which fitflops do people recommend, the toe post or the cross overs?

Cheetahfajita I don’t think shoe styles can be recommended to that extent. Feet are far too unique. I love a mule but cannot bear a toe post and find birkies very uncomfortable. There is a make called Vionic recommended by my physio because they have an inbuilt orthotic. Possibly worth a try.

Whilst some of the shoes on this thread may be a little inelegant I suspect sensibly shod feet are much more elegant in sandals than those which have suffered for modernity or elegance 90% of their life.

I have had lovely, comfortable and smart shoes from:
Russell and Bromley
Fit Flops
Gabriele
Geox
Ecco
Paul Green
Around the house I like my Crocs clogs (12 years old and going strong)

I guess my Merrills rate as fugly in many women's eyes. I can't beat them for comfort, but they are no good in cold or wet. I've had lined boots (treated fabric) that made me happy in cold /wet (can't find right brand/pic).

Problem is that for me, most high heeled shoes are horrors that rate as both fugly & torture devices. I guess beauty in eye of beholder?
