Please recommend me the most comfortable shoes? I'm struggling being back at work and my feet HURT.
Casual is fine, I own Skechers go walks but even they aren't helping. Thanks

Fitflop Rally trainers. They look pretty much like a Stan smith in white Wink

WellTidy · 21/08/2020 21:36

Gabor are lovely. Leather is generally very soft and sole padded.

Moshulu are also really comfortable. Massive selection. I wear their wasabi sandals to death all summer, every summer.

I have multiple sketchers Go Walk - I know you said that you have them, but they do Go Walk in a few styles and colours.

Uggs?

Ecco boots and sketchers trainers.
Everytime I've bought more 'trendy' trainers they rip my feet to shreds. Sketchers are like wearing a super soft duvet around your feet from the very first wear.
Ecco boots- also no blisters etc.

Hotter. I've not worn anything else for about four years!

riotlady · 21/08/2020 21:46

Really ugly Clark’s shoes- basically the unloop but with a zip

riotlady · 21/08/2020 21:48

Also bought some Hotter boots at a garden centre- my mum, sister and me all bought a pair because they were so comfy and my sister is 19 and v trendy so they can’t have been THAT hideous

Ecco or Hushpuppies - not elegant but like wearing slippers .....

Another vote for ecco trainers. Leather and the most comfy trainers I've ever had, I know they are expensive but I bought a second pair in another colour

Ecco and Birkenstock's. Birkies needs a bit of getting used to, but worth it. Ecco have improved hugely in style, but the most comfortable are still the ugliest.

In my twenties, with arthritis and waitressing, I learnt to take a spare pair of shoes to work, with slightly different heel heights. It wasn't a lot of difference, but changing over regularly during the course of a shift meant the weight went on different parts of the foot, and it was all much easier to deal with.

Uggs

Mumtumwobble · 21/08/2020 22:01

Not fashionable but sketchers go walks are the comfiest things ever.

corlan · 21/08/2020 22:04

Hotter - and they last for years.

MrsClatterbuck · 21/08/2020 22:04

Rolling soft by Gabor. They have special soles. Might be something similar to MBT footwear.

MrsClatterbuck · 21/08/2020 22:09

Also love Ecco. Bought a pair of kitten heel ones years ago when overseas. Paid a lot more than I would have in the UK but they were worth it. They were dressy but very comfortable and basically I wore them into the ground. With hindsight I would have bought 2 pairs. Also had a pair of shoe boots by ecco but not sure if they do these styles anymore I have one foot now with a dropped arch and am now limited to what I can wear.

Oofos , which are actually runners/athletes recovery shoes ,

They are absolutely amazing and I've never come close to finding anything like them in terms of comfort. I've literally got loads of my friends wearing them too after trying mine on

It's like walking on clouds

I live in them now .

If I've ran a huge long run my feet ache within 5 mins of putting my Oofos on all pain and discomfort is gone. Absolutely amazing shoes

Air & Grace trainers with memory foam soles.

AnnaMagnani · 21/08/2020 22:12

Hotter. Have been wearing them since I was about 28.

LaurieFairyCake · 21/08/2020 22:13

Blundstone boots

pinkbalconyrailing · 21/08/2020 22:15

depends on what the issue is with your feet.
I have ecco or gabor as my 'nice' shoes for the office.
ara or dr marten for casual
birkenstock around the house

skecher or other memory foam make my feet hurt, not enough support for me.

Gilead · 21/08/2020 22:16

Another one for Clark’s unloop. Supremely comfortable.

Shelby1981 · 21/08/2020 22:18

Merrell dash glove

BestIsWest · 21/08/2020 22:22

Fit flop trainers and Ecco soft 7s.
Skechers were very comfortable but gave me plantar fasciitis- too soft and lack of support.
I also love my ASICS trainers.

magimedi · 21/08/2020 22:23

No shoes - barefoot, if you can, is just amazing.

If you can't, Merrell shoes/boots are the next best thing.

Grandmi · 21/08/2020 22:28

Casual..filt flop
Walking...sketchers
Smart ...fly shoes, expensive but so comfy .
