I can’t get no Haribo

There’s been none in my local Tesco for the last 3 weeks and there was none in the supermarkets in Devin last week.

Has anybody been able to purchase Haribo lately? 😂🤷‍♀️

OP I had a Haribo addiction when I was younger (esp foamy backed ones and gummybears) and have since realised it is the devils nectar! There is hope for a cleansing i promise...

HowFastIsTooFast · 21/08/2020 20:42

DP bought me two bags yesterday, I have a semi-serious addiction to tangfastics Blush

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 21/08/2020 20:44

I've noticed this in my local Tesco too. The little ticket said that more would be in stock 16/8 and went in yesterday and that wasn't the case

Persipan · 21/08/2020 20:55

Aldi is normally awash with Haribo, if there happens to be one near you?

BashfulClam · 21/08/2020 21:33

Tons in my Local Asda

Imnotamagician · 21/08/2020 21:36

I'm actually eating a share bag of star mix
yum Grin bought at morrisons - they had loads

AlohaMolly · 21/08/2020 21:37

Lidl and Farmfoods normally have them!

Afwan · 21/08/2020 21:38

I gave up eating Haribo as it was the one thing guaranteed to give me a huge spot the next day.

Those gummy bears look good though

GrumpyHoonMain · 21/08/2020 21:41

Sainsburys / Asda usually do the Halal version in the international food section.

Bargebill19 · 21/08/2020 21:46

Our corner shop has several meters of haribo and other similar gummy based yummyness.

Your welcome!

ureterr1blemuriel · 21/08/2020 21:49

Bought some tangfastics this week in Aldi - ate a cherry one first, then a key followed by a cola bottle. No wonder I have a mouthful of fillings...damage was done in the 80’s though ! 🤣

EasterIssland · 21/08/2020 21:52

Coop? Or amazon. I got big tubs of sweets for a sweet table at my wedding

grool · 21/08/2020 21:53

Morrisons are currently selling those big tubs of Haribo starmix and tangfastics. I'm low carbing and haven't had Haribo for nearly 2 years now, I could easily polish off a tub if each 😁

I don't care what you're doing right now OP, you need to find some Haribo and eat it in my honour please

nunnun · 21/08/2020 21:53

Most of Haribo confectionery recipes include beef or pork gelatin. Gelatin is a protein obtained by boiling the skin, tendons, cartilage, and/or bones of cows and pigs. Tasty.

Yes, it is rather.

Witchend · 21/08/2020 21:56

Sainbury's had loads today.

They do vegetarian / halal versions of most of their sweets for the world’s largest markets for sweets and confectionary (middle east / South Asia) and these get imported back around Ramadan. Real sugar Vimto also makes its rounds around then.

Amazon!!! I got a 3kg bag of yellow bellies delivered for £15!
