Worth getting a pregnancy test?

Only got my periods back after baby a couple of months ago. Cycles used to be around 26 days, last one (first one postpartum) appears to have been 34 days (new mini pill so not sure which is the “true” period). I’m now on day 36, feeling pretty PMSy for the last week but nothing has materialised. Spotting on day 23, so this could technically be day 13 if I count the spotting as a period... Worth waiting? Or getting a test? It’s playing on my mind.

Definitely.

I was 4 weeks pregnant with DD when DS was 14 weeks old.....

I popped to the local Tesco to get some food bits but they only had a single Clearblue for a tenner which felt excessive... if AF doesn’t arrive tomorrow I’ll try to get to a big shop with more choice, I think.

Have you had unprotected sex?

Not to my knowledge, no. Pill only has a 3h window, but I think I’ve taken it on time every day. I swear I’ve had PMS for a week straight by now. Angry

Doesn't hurt to test but my periods have taken a while to go back to 'normal' both times after having DC so it could just be that.

I suspect it’s just a longer cycle, especially from my terrible mood. I’m just fed up with waiting for it to pass... but the Clearblue did feel like an expensive distraction! Hoping I feel better tomorrow.

I was on the mini pill years ago with no problems. Second time around I had it was awful. Horrific mood swings and very unpredictable cycle. I'd never take it again
It could be that messing you around.
