Morning routine term time

What time do you get up during term time to get kids sorted and into work? Do you get ready before kids? I'm thinking of giving myself time before the kids get up but then it's getting ridiculously early!

I used to get up at 7 for a cup of tea, and shower. Kids up at 7:30 for breakfast, while I packed bags, did lunches sorted slips or money. They then got dressed while I did hair and makeup.

Everyone teeth and shoes/coats/bags and out the door.

I get up at 6 and give myself 30 mins to have 2 cuppa's and a shower. I wake the kids at 6.30 they take turns to have a shower all downstairs by 7 for breakfast. At 7.30 they start getting bags ready & shoes on. They leave the house at 8 to catch the school bus @8.10. They usually walk themselves to the bus stop but my 5yrs old is starting this Sept so I'll walk with them for the first week & lurk. Once they are on the bus I head off to work

I get up before everyone else. Always have.
I wake by 6. Make a coffee into travel mug, shove some clothes on and walk the dog. Usually just half an hour.
Home, quick shower, dressed and wake dds for 7am.
One gets up no problem but takes ages getting ready (13yr old).
11yr old is hard work to get moving!
They need to leave the house by 8am.
Once they’ve gone I have breakfast and head to work at 8.30am.

Thanks all I need to leave at 7:45am I think any later I'll hit traffic. Dh is taking them to school as wfh. They need to leave at 8:30 at the latest. Think 6:45am should give us enough time.

If that’s the case, you do bags and lunches and leave DH to clothes and breakfast.

@BluebellsGreenbells sounds like a plan

6.30-6.45 up, give kids breakfast, make packed lunches, get water bottles ready. Have my breakfast. Make cup of tea which cools while I shower.
6.45-7.00 give kids (4and 6)clothes to put on for the day and ask them to get dressed (usually in front of tv) while I have a shower. Drink tea.
7.00- 7.30 Get dressed, makeup, make sure I've everything I need for work.
Make sure kids are dressed and do last few tricky bits like tie.
Check kids bags are organised and by door.
Make my own lunch
Do everyone's teeth, everyone coats and shoes on and into car.

Usually run 10-15 minutes later than this but that's still fine..

I could do more prep night before but often too exhausted and more energy to make lunches etc in the morning.

Clothes laid out, bags packed and lunches made the night before - mine as well as DC

6:30 Get up and shower and dress
7:00 Get DC up when they were younger they would eat in their pyjamas before showering to minimise the risk of spillages on their uniform.
7:30 DH would finish getting them ready as I sorted myself
7:40 I would leave
8:00 DH would take the DC
