Feeling daft, have I broken something?

I have a high pain fresh hold, no pain relief labour and a 4th degree tear as a result...

Anyhow, I have this awful pain on the ball of my left foot! It started 30 mins ago. I went to get up and walk into the kitchen, I yelped at the pain! Since I know it's there I've been walking on it regardless as I'm prepared to feel it but the pain is very intense. It feels like something little is broken below the 3rd and 4th toe. The pain reminds me of when I snapped a tendon.

Only thing is I can't work out why it's happened! Nothing has hurt me. And I haven't exercised in over 6 weeks. I wear sketchers most of the time whilst off work.

Can a foot just break? Blush

Forgot to add that there's no pain in the foot until my gate reaches the ball of the foot

Morton's neuroma?

Have you / your family ever suffered from gout? I got it for the first time in my 30s and it was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced. I came on suddenly & pain doesn’t usually bother me. But if it was it would be red & maybe warm to the touch?
I’m not a medic it is just a suggestion!
Hope it feels better soon Flowers

I get this.

Sometimes really regularly but other times it can be a year or more so it's a very painful surprise!

It's very painful but it does go sometimes in only a few hours but always within a week.

I've never found out what it is but I think it's a nerve that gets trapped and the pain goes once it's released similar to sciatica which I also get but in the foot.

I meant to say similar it is maybe like sciatica (which I also get) but the pain is in the foot not the back. It's not a worse pain as such but it feels more intense in the foot.

I don't know if that has a specific name though.

I've had this before, went to the urgent care and they thought it was broken, but then turned out not to be and it was better within a couple of days, never did find out what it was, never had it since. But I could hardly walk, and I was on holiday at the time!
