Phone cameras

Not sure if this is allowed or where to post it ... I have an old iPhone and I take a lot of photos (it’s my hobby). I’ve also got apps on the phone and a Mac desktop. It seems like a hassle to change to an Android. I worry I’d lose music, apps, Instagram.

At some point I want a new phone just to have a better camera. Friends who have Samsung’s have great definition on their phones - will I get this if I go to iPhone 11? Really don’t want the work of switching to Android.

I switched from iphone to samsung a few years ago. it wasnt too much of a hassle, you get lost of the same apps and just need to log in on each. not sure how music/photos would work if they are saved in iTunes or your mac tho.

You can open a google account and upload the photos to google drive from your phone. Then its easy to access them from any device. Icloud will only work on apple products, but google will work across them all.

I switched from apple phone to android, it was very easy. I still have an ipad and imac, and use google as my storage/calendar/contacts etc and i can access it all from any device.

I've got the 11 the camera is amazing on it, I swear I have never taken a good photo in my life, now all of them are fantastic (although a photographer might say different)
But I'm really pleased with it.

I love my iphone 11. I moved from android to the iphone a month ago. The camera is AMAZING!! It's the main reason i switched.

I just made sure all my pics were uploaded to googlepics before i switched.

I know it sounds silly, but the last few years I find the least little things really stressful. I worry I’d get locked out of stuff as the phone remembers my passwords for me.

Sounds like the 11 might do me then. If it’s as good as a 1-2 year old Samsung I’m happy. I can’t afford it yet, but when I can I think I’ll go that route.
