Blocking Porn/ dating emails

Hi how do I stop these porn dating sites sending me up 20 emails a day on my gmail account - they're usually pics of young women half naked telling me they "want to do things with me" - I'm female and middle aged, I think they've targeted the wrong one.

I've tried deleting them, going in and unsubscribing from them - they usually come from the same address or one of several addresses - or marking them as spam. After all my attempts to stop them some of them are still getting through. What else can I do?

Unsubscribing just lets them know your account is in use so they will send more I'm afraid. Unsubscribe works okay on legitimate businesses

Marking as spam is good. Though gmail should also let you make a filter rule something like "if sender is xxx then send to spam folder"

You can probably also make one that says "if subject line contains xxxx then send to spam folder" and "if body of email contains xxxx then send to spam folder"

If there's a phrase they all use that can work.

Otherwise you can only get a new email address.

Good news is that sometimes there's a rush of spam and then google notice them and block them directly so they die down. Marking them as spam helps draw google's attention to them.
