Which would you say is more expensive? Currently shop at Sainsburys but debating whether to give Tesco's a go

sainsbury seem more expensive, their clothes are better quality. Is it just normal food shopping?

bubbles519 · 18/08/2020 14:19

@ClamDango yes just normal food shopping, thanks

Totally agree with previous poster, tesco is definitely cheaper. I find their fruit and veg are better. I like sainsburys ready meals more, tesco ones are nasty. Sainsburys clothes are better quality.

Tesco are definitely cheaper, I think they price match aldi on a lot of things, or did a few months ago anyway.

Tesco is cheaper for us, Sainsbury doesnt seem very well stocked were we live, even before lockdown. TU clothes are much better than Tesco clothes though.

Ricekrispie22 · 18/08/2020 15:31

Tesco’s are now price matching Aldi on some products

Ricekrispie22 · 18/08/2020 15:31

Also, if you look online at the Tesco half price offers, there’s always way more than Sainsbury’s half price offers

Sainsburys are expensive and have a rubbish selection. They very rarely change their range.

TantricTwist · 18/08/2020 15:33

Tesco is a bit cheaper but Sainsburys is better quality.
