How to become an interesting person?

What makes a person interesting? It's something that I feel insecure about. I don't have many interests, am bright enough but not well educated academically, not well traveled or well read. I just feel interior but would like to improve it! I have friends that are passionate about painting, photography, architecture etc. I would like to be a more well rounded person but not sure how to!

Well I think you've basically said it, it's hard to be interesting if you don't have any real interests! Please don't feel inferior though, it doesn't make you less of a person.

My suggestion would be to start skimming through a newspaper or news site every day and see if any stories catch your interest -- it could be a local community thing, or some cultural field you've not heard of before, or recipes, or anything really. There's a gazillion different things going on in the world, you're bound to be interested in something if you explore them.

Well it's hard to become well-educated or well-travelled at the drop of a hat, but you can certainly become well-read - all you need to do is actually just read. Do you enjoy reading books, magazines, newspapers or news websites?

Just be authentic

Say nothing about yourself. You’ll suddenly become very interesting to everyone around you. Sad but true.
