DLA payments beyond 16yrs old - odd payment received!

Don't know if anyone can help before I spend hours on phone to DWP!

My ds is 16 tomorrow. He gets DLA.

Award is until next August but he will be asked to transfer to PIP this year and they'll send forms.

The 4 week payment for this month was due next week.

Today we got a payment up to today.

Does anyone know if they'll now pay every 4 weeks from today?

Or will they pay 1 week next Tuesday and carry on 4 weeks from that date?

I really wish they wouldn't just muck around with payments - makes it so hard to budget.

They pay up to 16th birthday then 4 weekly from then while PIP is sorted.

Thanks. I thought that because we had to fill out a form saying where payments would go from 16th birthday . They are still coming to me.

But you never know for sure so always worth a check!
