A female relative is actually going to be 101 in a few weeks. She loves to read. Psychological thrillers, non fiction, anything!

What could I buy for her? Any ideas?

If she likes psychological thrillers then I can recommend Into the Darkest Corner. Very good book.

I really enjoyed The Keeper of lost Things

Our house by Louise Candlish is very good.

Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout - a woman’s life told in short stories from different perspectives. The follow up Olive, Again is also excellent.

The Little House by Philippa Gregory - a domestic psychological thriller

50 shades of grey! Imagine!

Some great recommendations (thrillers aren't my thing at all so know nothing about them!)

Going to check them all out now, thanks.

Strpuy has also written a wonderful sequel - Olive Again.

The Number One Ladies Detective Agency books - there's about 20 in the series now, should keep her going for a while.

TenCornMaidens · 17/08/2020 21:05

STROUT of course, sorry

A book of old photos of the area she grew up in. Not quite what you were after I'm sure but went down a treat for a 100th birthday recently

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 17/08/2020 22:55

No idea but. Wow 101 isn't that amazing 🎂 FlowersGin.
I do quite like Aveburys suggestion though
