I got an estimated bill last week. I have a Smart Meter. So I rang them to ask a) why was my bill estimated and b) why was it estimated at over £25 MORE than my last three bills?
Their response? To try to persuade me to get my gas through them (there's no gas to the village!) and to tell me that, yes, my Smart Meter is working. They can see it's working. And to ask me for a meter reading (why, if my Smart Meter is working?).
No good answers to any of my questions. Sorry, just had to rant; it was that or hold down a passer-by and shout WHY??? into their face.
