I got an interview!
I was promoted to a new team about 5 months ago, after being back at work only a few days following mat leave (I applied for and interviewed for the promotion), I was successful out of 7 candidates, all of us internal.
Last week I got really great feedback from my new manager who suggested I apply for the level above when the opportunity arises (her level, but there area number of those roles, it wouldn't be her job). I checked our internal jobs page and a job was being advertised, closing that day. So I put in a really quick application. And I have got an interview!
I'm absolutely bricking it and have never interviewed at that level before - senior manager. But think it will be great experience. I'm so excited!
