Just out of interest?

A' Level and GCSE results for those educated outside of school?

My understanding is that it doesn’t and they were not able to be given any mark.

So would home schoolers just take the autumn exams?
I suppose their schooling wasn't interrupted in the same way as school attendees, but that could still massively impact their plans for 20-21.

That’s my understanding as well. Home schooling doesn’t normally follow a summative assessment schedule with trained staff marking them. They then can’t be compared to their counterparts.

It’s varied a lot. Some home schooling students were taking formal courses (a lot of people combine some home schooling and some courses), and some of those courses were allowed to submit estimates grades for them.
It’s all been a shambles really.
