A thread about spooky coincidences, explained or not!

I love "mystery" and unexplained threads and haven't seen a good one in a while so thought I'd start my own.

DH and I are thinking of buying a new car as our current one is a squeeze. We decided to go for a Skoda and I looked on my phone at our local dealership to see if they were doing F2F appointments.

That's it - not inputting of data or filling out forms. I have never owned a Skoda or been inside that showroom before.

The next day, the dealership rang me to thank me for my interest and invite me to come in!

How did they know???

You must have put your details in at some point, otherwise how would they know? With gdpr they aren't allowed to randomly call people.

As a child we lived in the south west and were moving to Yorkshire. My dad and our immediate next door neighbour at the time put in an offer on the same house in a small Yorkshire village on the same day.

Neither realised at that point the other was moving to that particular area..

They ended up with it, we ended up with a similar one down the road and they babysat us for years. My parents don't live there now but have randomly bumped into them all over the uk since.

Kiss, I didn't! I didn't know if we could just turn up so looked at their site. Browsed some of the info on finance etc but it was just clicking links.

Carly that is spooky!
