We are off next weekend to an outdoor proms type concert in a field. Can take picnic and alcohol. Plus folding chairs and umbrella! Any other good tips for things to take for the best experuence/comfort?!
Hopefully weather will cheer up! Hmm

a blanket

Blanket and warm stones/pocket hand warmer. Decent shoes to keep feet warm as it will be cold unless we have another heatwave.

If it is chilly a hoodie is nice to keep warm.

Black bin bag for rubbish
Torch (preferable a head torch so your hands are free to carry, if the event finished past dark.
Check and double check the rules. If they say no glass they usually check.
I am assume that not a large event in these strange times but in the past have found it difficult to locate car after the event in daylight and especially after dark.
When we went with young DC we would picnic before the main event then at the interval DH would take back to the car the cool box and hamper and I would have a tidy up so that at the end we could make a easy getaway.
We have been to many of these events and always found the ones with loads of friends the worst for having stuff everywhere and having to sort out at the end. But we always had lots of fun.

Oh and I agree about a blanket and shoes, even on a hot summer day and going in my shorts and flip flops I would also take long trouser, socks, trainers and my fleece.
