Buying a house

I am looking at buying my first house. I had an offer accepted on tuesday and I need to send off my ID and my proof of ability to buy. I have a mortgage in principle sorted but I am meeting with a broker next week to get the best deal. Can I send the mortgage in principle that I've already got to take the house off the market or do I need to wait until I have the best deal?

You can use the one you have. You're not commited to a mortgage, just proving you can get one.

Thank you, I have no real idea what I'm doing as most of the people around me rent 😬

Just send what you’ve got to demonstrate that you’re proceedable.

Haha yes just send what you have.

We got our AIP with Halifax as apparently they are the easiest to get and leave no credit issues.

We didn't go with them in the end
