Has anyone else hit burnout today?

I think lockdown has finally caught up with me.

I'm exhausted and in bed eating a picked onion sandwich and drinking a can of Pimms.

Happy Friday

Not today but I definitely have had days like that!

Marmite27 · 14/08/2020 15:55

Both DH and I are close.

I did wonder if you’d sliced the onions, or just flung them on whole Grin

covidburnout · 14/08/2020 15:58

🤣 at pickled onion confusion.

I just feel that I can't do it anymore or at least today. We've been so lucky as a family, no furlough, no illness.

But I've just hit the wall this week. I've been working a very relational face to face job over zoom for the last 5 months and I'm so frustrated with it. Kids are fed up too.

I just need to eat junk food in bed.

Interesting. I’ve just had a bowl of crisps in bed.
Feel like I burnt out a long time ago.

WinWinnieTheWay · 14/08/2020 16:31

Definitely for the past three weeks.

I want my life back, it wasn't amazing, but it was much better than this!

nogooddeedgoesunpunished · 14/08/2020 16:33

I've been counting down to bedtime since lunchtime . I'm so over it all . House is wrecked, no change of scenery for months & DS is a very loveable pain in the neck . Working a v demanding job which I know I'm lucky to have but just so so tired and fed up

GazingAndGrazing · 14/08/2020 16:40

Yes, I’m annoyingly tired. I can’t even be arsed to drink wine, it’s that bad.

GazingAndGrazing · 14/08/2020 16:41

I also have 2 9 week old puppies
