Its my birthday coming up and DP wants to know what i want. I thought a flower subscription might be nice but there's so many out there so I'd love to know if anyone has recommendations or places to avoid! Thanks in advance

Freddie’s flowers

I have had one with Freddies Flowers and now have one with Arena.
Freddie's Flowers are very slick but I didn't really like the bouquets - they are all mixed bunches and feel a bit formal /corporate. They will also keep trying to deliver weekly unless you remember to change the frequency every week which is a pain.
Arena Flowers are less slick in terms of marketing but their bouquets are single flower and have mostly been really beautiful. They are also £5 cheaper! I have a fortnightly delivery and the flowers just about last the time - although that depends on the type of flower as well as some are more robust than others.

Thanks both, hadn't heard of arena so will check it out.
I've had bloom and wild flowers before but not been majorly impressed

Arena are also carbon neutral / fully ethical (fair trade / living wage etc). Always had good flowers from them. Have been sent a Freddie’s box which required a lot of arranging!

I got an Arena subscription as a gift and have been really pleased, I get them fortnightly and they nearly always last the full two weeks, here are some pics I've taken, (I take photos to send to the person that gifted them).
