iPad help!

Hi need some help with my iPad please. My stupid cat sat on my iPad and now I can’t get onto safari it’s just a black screen. I can scroll to the left hand side but it shows only the last site that I was on and just a third of the page showing! I can’t get full size up and other pages that I had open! Can anyone give me any help? Tia

Try holding down the power button & home button together.

It might be physically damaged where only a repair will help
